Mental Health and Substance Use

The Problem

Many people have trouble identifying and coping with mental health stressors and crises.

Social-Emotional Learning teaches kids how to cope with stressors, process emotions, and build healthy relationships.

Mental Health First Aid training teaches people how to identify and respond when someone is having a mental health crisis.

We are currently working to develop other initiatives to address mental health crisis prevention.

These strategies also start addressing stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness.
